What is the best AI call scoring software in 2026? 12 tools compared
Written by Callyst, which makes one of the tools in this comparison. Rival facts come from each company's own pages, read on the dates shown in the table, in the currency each page shows. Callyst's own price was checked on 5 Nov 2026 against our pricing page. We do not rank the tools and we did not test them. Prices change, so follow the links before you buy. If we've got something wrong, email us and we'll fix it.
How do the 12 AI call scoring tools compare at a glance?
One row per tool. Callyst is first because it is ours. The other 11 are in A to Z order, which is not a ranking. Each row uses the vendor's own unit, so the rows are not like-for-like. Each tool has its own section further down, with the sources.

Gong's page describes building scorecards; its table classification is pending review.
Unknown never means no, and it does not mean a vendor's page is silent: it means the table has no confirmed classification yet, including where one is pending review. For a longer dated table of 16 tools, with a CSV you can download, see Which call QA tools publish their prices? A dated price index (2026).
How do I choose AI call scoring software?
- Who is it built for? Start with the Suits column. Each tool's own page says whether it is aimed at sales teams, support teams or large contact centres.
- What does it score, and whose scorecard? Check whether you can write your own. Where the table has no confirmed answer yet, it says unknown: that is not a no, and it does not mean the page says nothing.
- What is the price a price of? Seats, runs, credits, minutes and quotes do not compare directly. Read the unit before the number.
- What else is on the bill? Add-ons, platform fees, phone plans and credits can sit beside the headline price. Avoma and CloudTalk list scoring as an add-on, and Gong lists a platform fee.
- What are the minimum and the term? Look for seat minimums, contract length and billing term. Treat 'not stated' as a question to ask, not an answer.
- How do your calls get in? Some tools work inside a phone or sales platform. Callyst works from recordings you upload, so it fits any phone system that can export them.
- Can you try it on your own calls? Callyst's free check scores up to 10 of your own calls and sends a scored report within 24 hours. Ask the other vendors what a trial covers.
What would 10 reps cost?
We total a cost for 10 reps only where a vendor charges per seat and the sum is simple. Two rows qualify:
- Callyst: 10 × $40 = $400 a month, billed monthly, with 10,000 calls included and shared across the team. Extra calls are 5¢ each.
- evaluagent: from 10 × $35 = $350 a month, or from 10 × $65 = $650 with Conversation Intelligence. These are 'from' prices, not quotes, and the page does not state a billing term, a seat minimum or a contract.
Every other row says why it has no total:
- Quote only, no amount shown: Gong, Jiminny, Level AI, Observe.AI, Salesloft and Scorebuddy.
- Priced by runs, not reps: MaestroQA / Rippit. A run is not necessarily one call, and AI credits are extra.
- Per seat, but a part is missing: Avoma (the page does not say which plan takes the scoring add-on), CloudTalk (a phone plan plus a scoring plan, and the page shows euros) and Fireflies (the page does not say which plan includes scorecards).
Multiplying a base seat price by 10 would leave out the add-ons that scoring needs, so we do not do it.
What does each tool offer, and what does it score?
Each section says who the tool suits according to its own pages, what it scores, the price as published, and where we read it. We did not test any tool. 'Suits' is our reading of the vendor's description, so check it against your own team.
Callyst (ours)
Callyst scores recorded sales calls against your own scorecard, in your words, or its standard sales scorecard if you bring none. It suits a team of any size, from one rep. The price is $200 a month for 1 to 3 reps, $280 for 4 to 7, and $40 per rep a month from 8. Ten reps pay 10 × $40 = $400 a month, with 10,000 calls included and shared across the team; extra calls are 5¢ each. There is no setup fee and no platform fee, and billing is monthly with no annual contract. You can try it first: upload up to 10 of your own calls and get a scored report within 24 hours, free. Callyst scores calls in English. Price checked 5 Nov 2026 on our own pricing page.
Good to know (Callyst): Callyst scores calls in English. It works from recordings, so it fits any phone system that can export them. Scores, flags and coaching notes are generated by AI and can be wrong. Review them before acting, especially before any step that affects a person's job or pay. Try it on up to 10 of your own calls at the free 10-call check, see the pricing page or read the sample report.
Avoma
Avoma sells per recorder seat, with scoring in a separate Conversation Intelligence add-on, so it fits teams that already want a per-seat meeting recorder and add scoring on top. Its pricing page lists AI and custom scoring in that add-on. Seats a month are $19 billed annually or $29 monthly on Startup, and $29 or $39 on Organization. The add-on is $29 billed annually or $35 billed monthly, per seat. The page does not say which plan the add-on attaches to, so we do not total a cost for 10 reps. Enterprise needs at least 10 paid seats, annual billing only; no general minimum is stated. A 14-day Organization trial with add-ons needs no card. Source: Avoma: Pricing, as of 5 Nov 2026.
CloudTalk
CloudTalk is a phone system first: its pricing page lists an AI Conversation Intelligence add-on on each phone plan, so it fits teams that want calling and scoring from one vendor. Its help page says Basic includes scoring: questions are added from a library and edited inside fixed categories, each on a five-point scale, and assigning templates to groups automatically needs Plus. On the Belgian page (euros), Starter is €25 a user a month billed annually or €34 monthly. Scoring plans come on top: Basic €9 billed annually, Plus €19 with no billing basis stated. We do not convert euros or total 10 reps. Annual billing carries a 12-month commitment. evaluagent
evaluagent presents quality assurance as the product. Its pricing page lists custom scorecards, automated QA scoring on 100% of conversations, coaching workflows and dashboards, and it prices human agents by seat and AI agents by conversation, so it fits contact-centre quality teams. AutoQM & Improvement is from $35 per user a month, and from $65 with Conversation Intelligence. For 10 users that is from 10 × $35 = $350 a month, or from 10 × $65 = $650. These are starting prices, not quotes, and the page does not state a billing term, a seat minimum or a contract. Volume discounts are mentioned for large teams. Source: evaluagent: Pricing, as of 5 Nov 2026.
Fireflies
Fireflies heads its sales page 'For Sales Teams That Move Fast': notes, summaries, CRM updates and follow-up drafts, with scorecards as one feature, so it fits teams that want meeting notes first. The page says calls are scored against sales frameworks (BANT, MEDDIC or SPICED). It does not say whether you can write your own scorecard or which plan includes scorecards. Per seat a month, billed annually: Free $0, Pro $10, Business $19, Enterprise $39. Monthly billing is offered on Pro and Business, but the amounts are not shown. Because the scoring plan is not established, we do not total a cost for 10 reps. Minimum seats and cancellation terms are not stated. Source: Fireflies: Sales page, as of 5 Nov 2026.
Gong
Gong's pricing page is titled 'Gong Revenue AI Pricing', and its scorecards help page names sales managers as the audience, so it fits sales teams that want a broader revenue platform around call review. Scorecards give structured feedback on calls. Gong AI can suggest answers to scorecard questions or review whole calls automatically, on the Enable Essentials and Enable plans. The help page says admins build and publish scorecards as a set of predefined questions, answer options and optional scoring guides. The pricing page shows no amounts: licences are priced per user, plus a platform fee based on the number of users supported, and a proposal comes by form. The form's team-size bands are not minimum commitments. Sources: Gong: Pricing, as of 5 Nov 2026; Gong: Scorecards, as of 5 Nov 2026.
Jiminny
Jiminny's AI Call Scoring help page is written for managers who struggle to review enough calls to coach their team. Admins or managers define the criteria, a scorecard starts from a template or from scratch, each section is scored 1 to 5, and each score comes with an explanation and timestamps. The pricing page shows no amount: pricing is bespoke, based on the number and type of seats, with no usage credits. It says it charges no platform fee, only a one-time setup fee whose amount is not shown. The minimum contract is 12 months, billed monthly or annually at a discount, and a 14-day trial needs no credit card. Sources: Jiminny: Pricing, as of 5 Nov 2026; Jiminny: AI Call Scoring, as of 5 Nov 2026.
Level AI
Level AI's pricing guide is written for enterprise contact-centre buyers. The company says it runs AI agents, quality assurance, agent assist, analytics and voice AI on one engine, so it fits large contact centres that want several of those together. The guide describes its QA and call scoring; we have not tested it, and the pages we read do not say whether you write your own scorecards. The guide gives no numeric price. It says deployments combine per-agent pricing, platform licensing and usage components that depend on channels, agent count and products. A demo is offered. A free plan or trial, a numeric minimum and a contract length are not stated. Without an amount we cannot give a cost for 10 reps. Source: Level AI: Pricing models guide, 8 Jul 2026.
MaestroQA / Rippit
Rippit, formerly MaestroQA, writes its QA guide for support teams. It says AI can score every eligible conversation against the rubric you already use, with people reviewing calibration and exceptions, so it fits support teams with a rubric. Plans are measured in Agent Runs, not calls: Free is 100 runs a month with $100 of AI credits, Starter is $185 a month for 300 runs, and Growth is $495 a month for 1,000. A run is one execution of a workflow, so it is not necessarily one call, and AI credits are charged at cost on top. Because the price follows runs, not reps, we do not total 10 reps. No seat minimum or commitment is stated. Sources: MaestroQA / Rippit: Pricing, as of 5 Nov 2026; MaestroQA / Rippit: QA guide, 2 Oct 2026.
Observe.AI
Observe.AI's information page describes enterprise organisations running large customer-facing contact-centre operations across voice and digital channels. It says its Interaction Intelligence analyses 100% of customer conversations and scores their quality, alongside AI agents and real-time guidance for frontline teams, so it fits enterprise contact centres. It is sold direct through its sales team, with no public self-serve tier. The pages we read do not say whether you write your own scorecard. No amount is shown: pricing is custom, based on deployment scope, which AI agents are deployed, conversation volume and channels. A demo is offered. A free trial, a seat minimum and a contract length are not stated. Source: Observe.AI: Vendor information page, last updated 23 Jul 2026.
Salesloft
Salesloft sells Conversation Intelligence as part of its revenue platform, so it fits sales teams that want call scoring alongside summaries, CRM updates and coaching in one place. Its page says the product records, transcribes and analyses every sales call, and its FAQ lists scoring calls automatically among the uses. The pages we read do not say whether you write your own scorecard. The product page shows no amount or billing unit and points to sales contact or a platform tour. A free plan or trial is not stated, and nor are minimums or contract length. Without an amount we cannot give a cost for 10 reps, and we do not guess one. Source: Salesloft: Conversation Intelligence, as of 5 Nov 2026.
Scorebuddy
Scorebuddy builds its pages around contact-centre quality assurance, and its FAQ says the packages suit teams of all sizes and levels of QA maturity. Foundation lists customisable scorecards, a calibration module and agent dashboards. AI Auto Scoring starts at Accelerate, which includes 500 AI scores a month; Elite includes 1,000. AI scoring and transcription run on credits you can buy in bundles. No amounts are shown: pricing is by number of users and package, and each package says Request a price. Scorebuddy offers annual contracts, with custom enterprise agreements in some cases, and does not state a seat minimum. Without an amount we cannot give a cost for 10 reps. Source: Scorebuddy: Pricing, as of 5 Nov 2026.

How was this comparison built?
- We read each tool's own pricing page, and its own help, product or information pages where fit, scoring or a price is explained. We do not use review sites or one vendor's description of another.
- Each row has a checked date, the day we last opened its source and read the fact, and a link to it.
- Currency and unit are shown as the vendor shows them. We do not convert currencies.
- We total a cost for 10 reps only where the sum is simple per-seat maths, and we show the working.
- 'Not stated' means the pages we read did not say. It does not mean the tool lacks the feature or the term. Unknown never becomes no.
- We did not test any tool. A yes for scoring means the vendor describes it. 'Suits' is our reading of the vendor's own description.
- These are list prices checked on the dates shown, not quotes. Discounts, taxes and add-ons can change what you pay.
- How the 11 other tools were chosen: we counted which tools six recent comparison pages named, limited to tools we hold a dated own-site fact sheet for. Twelve qualified and a fixed alphabetical tie-break kept eleven. That is a cut-off, not a verdict.
- Other Callyst posts show prices read at other times. Dates, country pages, plans and readable fields can differ. A difference is not always a price change, so check the row's date and link.
Questions about AI call scoring software
Which software scores calls against my own scorecard?
Several do. Seven of the 12 tools here are recorded as letting you write or customise your scorecard: Avoma, Callyst, CloudTalk, evaluagent, Jiminny, MaestroQA / Rippit and Scorebuddy. CloudTalk is a yes with limits, because questions are edited inside fixed categories. Five have no confirmed entry in the table yet: Fireflies, Gong, Level AI, Observe.AI and Salesloft. Unknown is not a no. Callyst loads your scorecard as written. See software that scores sales calls against your own scorecard.
What is an affordable call QA tool for a small call centre?
It depends on how many calls you score and how a tool counts them. Callyst is a flat $200 a month for 1 to 3 reps and $280 for 4 to 7. Of the others here, evaluagent shows prices from $35 per user a month, and MaestroQA / Rippit shows paid plans from $185 a month, measured in Agent Runs, not calls. Six show no amount. We do not rank tools: read the unit column in the table, or see affordable call QA tools for a small call centre.
How do I automatically score customer service calls?
Write your checklist as a scorecard, give the software your recordings, let it score each call, then have a person read the results and coach from them. Callyst works from uploaded recordings, so any phone system that can export them will do. Its standard scorecard is for sales calls, so for service calls you bring your own. Scores, flags and coaching notes are generated by AI and can be wrong. They are an aid, not a decision. Review them before acting, especially before any step that affects a person's job or pay. See how to automatically score customer service calls.
What are good Gong alternatives for small businesses?
It depends on the job. Gong's pricing page shows no amounts: licences are per user, plus a platform fee, and a proposal comes by form. For recorded sales calls scored on your own scorecard, Callyst lists its price: $200 a month for 1 to 3 reps, $280 for 4 to 7, then $40 per rep. Others here show part of the picture: Avoma lists seats plus a scoring add-on, Fireflies lists plan prices without saying which plan has scorecards, and evaluagent starts from $35 per user a month. See Gong alternatives for small businesses and Callyst vs Gong.
Which call scoring tools are affordable for a team of 10 reps?
Affordable depends on your budget and on how a tool counts. Two rows have a 10-rep cost we can work out from per-seat prices: Callyst at $400 a month (10 × $40, billed monthly, with 10,000 calls included and shared) and evaluagent from $350 a month (10 × $35, a 'from' price, not a quote; billing term not stated). The other tools are priced by quote, by run or by a base seat plus extras, so we do not total them. See the table and affordable call scoring tools for 10 reps.
