When is Gong the better choice?
Gong calls itself the "#1 AI OS for Revenue Teams" and says it is trusted by more than 5,000 customers (Gong, as of 15 Oct 2026). It says Gong Enable is "built for sales leaders, enablement professionals, and frontline managers at growth-stage and enterprise companies", with more than 300 integrations (Gong, as of 15 Oct 2026).
For call scoring, Gong's scorecards can be filled in by people or by AI Call Reviewer, which can suggest answers or score every call that matches a scorecard's filters. Scorecards are listed as available on the Enable Essentials and Enable plans (Gong help, updated 13 Sep 2026, Gong help, updated 18 Mar 2026). Gong supports more than 70 languages, though some features only work on English calls (Gong help, updated 13 Jul 2026). It integrates natively with Salesforce, HubSpot and MS Dynamics, one CRM at a time (Gong help, updated 8 Jan 2026), and Gong Forecast adds AI deal and revenue prediction (Gong, as of 15 Oct 2026).
Price: not published. Gong's pricing page says licences are priced per user and there is a platform fee based on the number of users (Gong pricing, as of 15 Oct 2026). Vendr, which publishes figures from software deals, says the median Gong buyer pays $55,359 a year (Vendr data, last updated March 2026). Capterra lists no free trial for Gong (Capterra, updated 29 Sep 2026).
Choose Gong if you run a larger sales organisation that wants recording, coaching, deal tracking, forecasting and enablement in one platform, works across many languages, and is comfortable with an annual negotiated contract.
When is Avoma the better choice?
Avoma publishes its prices. As of 15 Oct 2026, its pricing page lists Startup at $19 and Enterprise at $39 per recorder seat per month billed annually, and shows two prices for Organization: $24 on the plan card and $29 in the plan comparison table. Billed monthly, Startup is $29 and Organization $39. AI call scoring and custom AI scorecards come with the Conversation Intelligence add-on, at $29 per seat per month billed annually. It offers a 14-day free trial of the Organization plan with no credit card, and says there are no setup fees and no minimum platform fees (Avoma pricing, as of 15 Oct 2026).
Avoma says it "automatically scores 100% of sales calls against your scorecards and sales methodology", with templates for MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, BANT, SPICED and Sandler (Avoma, as of 15 Oct 2026). Its pricing page lists 70+ languages and native integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive and Copper, plus dialers such as RingCentral, Zoom, Aircall and Kixie. It also offers forecasting through its Revenue Intelligence add-on (Avoma, as of 15 Oct 2026).
Choose Avoma if your team spends most of its time in video meetings, wants AI meeting notes and scheduling as well as call scoring, and wants published self-serve pricing and a trial.
When is Jiminny the better choice?
Jiminny describes itself as "a conversation and revenue intelligence platform that captures emails, phone and video calls, provides insights that win deals and syncs them to your CRM" (Jiminny, page checked 15 Oct 2026). Its AI Call Scoring automatically evaluates calls on a scorecard, giving each section a score from 1 to 5 with an explanation and time stamps (Jiminny help, updated Oct 2026).
Jiminny lists call recording and transcription in more than 60 languages, EU and US data storage, and integrations with HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Close, Bullhorn and Copper (Jiminny, page checked 15 Oct 2026), plus forecasting and deal-risk views (Jiminny, page checked 15 Oct 2026). It offers a 14-day trial with no credit card (Jiminny, page checked 15 Oct 2026).
Price: not published on Jiminny's site; its pricing page returned "page not found" on 15 Oct 2026. Capterra lists a starting price of $85 per user per month (Capterra, updated 29 Sep 2026).
Choose Jiminny if you want calls, video meetings and email captured together and synced to your CRM, need EU data storage, or use one of the CRMs it lists, such as Bullhorn or Close.
When is Callyst the better choice?
Callyst does less, on purpose. It scores every recorded call on your scorecard, in your words, with a quote from the call as evidence for each score. Serious problems become same-day flags for managers, and every rep gets a coaching email every weekday morning: what went well, what to fix, and what to say instead.
It costs $40 per rep per month, with a $300 a month minimum (1–7 reps). Each plan includes 1,000 calls per rep per month, shared across the team; extra calls are 5¢ each. No setup fee, monthly, cancel anytime; on annual billing you pay 10 months and get 12. Private: runs in your own cloud, for 20+ reps (ask us). You can start with a free 10-call check, or run a Blind Match ($750, credited if you sign an annual plan) to see how our scores agree with your own graders on 100 of your calls.
Choose Callyst if you want every call scored and every rep coached, on your own scorecard, at a published price, without a platform contract.
When is Callyst not the right choice?
- You need forecasting or deal tracking. Callyst doesn't do it. All three others do.
- You need built-in CRM or dialer integrations. Callyst works from recordings you upload or send through our API. We don't claim built-in integrations with specific phone systems.
- You want meeting notes and scheduling. Avoma is built for that.
- You need email and video meetings analysed alongside calls. Jiminny and Gong cover more channels.
How do you decide?
Start with the job. If the problem is "we can't hear enough calls to coach our reps", any of these four can help, and Callyst is the narrowest and simplest. If the problem is "we can't see what's happening across our pipeline", you need a platform. Whichever you choose, test it on your own calls against your own managers first: see how to check AI call scores against your managers.
