What is the difference between Callyst and Voxjar?
Callyst scores your recorded sales calls on your own scorecard and shows the quote behind each item score when one checks out. It suits teams of any size, and the price is on the page: $200 a month for 1 to 3 reps, $280 for 4 to 7, and $40 per rep from 8.
Voxjar, as of 31 Oct 2026, describes itself as "AI-Powered Call Quality Assurance". It scores calls on scorecards you build, and adds conversation insights, automations and many phone-system connectors. Its QA page says it is "Built for Agile QA Teams". Its price is public too: a free Basics plan, then QA Pro from $99 a month, as of 31 Oct 2026, with unlimited users on paid plans.
Both can score on a scorecard your team designs. The table shows how they go about it.
How do Callyst and Voxjar compare side by side?
| Topic | Callyst | Voxjar |
|---|---|---|
| Scoring on your own scorecard | Your own scorecard, item by item: 1 to 20 items and up to 12 flags, each item a scale or yes/no. Callyst's standard sales scorecard is used if you send none. | Build scorecards in an editor, start from a template, or paste your existing criteria into its AI Scorecard Builder. They run in its AI evaluator. Its pages list point values, auto-fails, conditional logic and a choice of AI model. |
| Quotes from the call | Item scores come with a quote from the call when one checks out, checked word for word against the transcript. The overall score comes with a short written reason. | Its pages say the AI gives its reasoning for each decision, and its Auto QA guide says it scores "with the reasoning and the transcript moment attached". Clicking a transcript sentence jumps to that moment in the audio. Whether quotes are checked word for word against the transcript: not shown publicly. |
| Public pricing | $200 a month for 1 to 3 reps, $280 for 4 to 7, $40 per rep from 8. 1,000 calls per rep included, shared across the team. Extra calls are 5 cents each. No setup fee. Billed monthly, no annual contract. | Published. Basics is $0 a month (120 AI credits, up to 3 users). QA Pro starts at $99 a month billed monthly (2,500 AI credits a month), or $90 billed annually; larger credit tiers cost more. An evaluation starts at 1 credit per minute of audio, and more on advanced AI models. Enterprise is custom. |
| Setup | Export your recordings and upload them (.wav or .mp3, up to 50 MB each) on the upload page or through the API. For a paid workspace, we set up your workspace and access. No setup fee. | Self-serve: create an account, upload a call or connect a phone system, and choose a scorecard. Its pages say you can score first calls in a few minutes. Its comparison page lists its setup fee as none. |
| Minimum team | Starts at one rep: $200 a month covers 1 to 3 reps. | No per-user or per-agent fees. QA Pro and Enterprise include unlimited users and agents; Basics includes up to 3 users. The pricing page shows no minimum team size. |
| Phone-system fit | Any phone system that can export recordings: export, then upload. | Its integrations page lists phone and dialer connectors, for example RingCentral, Aircall, Genesys Cloud, NICE CXone, Five9, Nextiva and Vonage, plus Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage and SFTP. Integrations are listed on QA Pro. You can also upload calls directly: one at a time on Basics, in bulk on QA Pro. |

When does Callyst fit?
Callyst fits when the job is "score our recorded calls on our checklist, and point people at the calls that matter".
- You have your own checklist. Send your scorecard as written, or paste a checklist and the free scorecard builder drafts one for you to read (the checklist text is sent to our AI model provider to write the draft, so leave real customer names and details out of it). How to use your own scorecard has the steps.
- You want to see the evidence. Item scores come with a quote from the call, checked word for word against the transcript. If no quote checks out, the score shows without one. The overall score comes with a short written reason.
- You want a short list of calls to hear. Put your own checks on the scorecard as flags, each with a severity and a word-for-word quote. Add your compliance checks to the scorecard and Callyst flags the calls that miss them, with the quote. A flag whose quote isn't in the transcript is dropped. Flags are a separate list for a person to review. Raising a flag does not change the call's score.
- You want reps to get a coaching note. In a paying workspace, each active rep with an email address on the Team page who had at least three scored calls the previous working day gets a short email on weekday mornings: what went well, what to fix, what to say instead.
- You want a price set by team size. Each rep includes 1,000 calls a month, shared across the team, and there is no setup fee. See pricing.
- You use any phone system. If it can export recordings, Callyst can score them. See phone systems.
Good to know: Callyst scores calls in English, and scores, flags and coaching notes are generated by AI and can be wrong, so review them before acting, especially before any step that affects a person's job or pay.

When does Voxjar fit?
Voxjar's pages describe an AI-first QA platform with automation around the scores. It is a good fit when:
- You want to start free. Voxjar lists a free Basics plan and a 14-day QA Pro trial, and says no credit card is needed.
- You want the whole team in the tool. Paid plans include unlimited users and agents, with agent logins, coaching feedback, score disputes and calibration sessions.
- You want ready-made connectors and actions. Its integrations page, as of 31 Oct 2026, lists about two dozen, and its pages describe webhooks, Slack messages and CRM updates after each evaluation.
- You score calls in languages other than English. Voxjar says it transcribes 100+ languages and can translate to English.
- You want point values, auto-fails, conditional logic, a choice of AI model, or insights such as AI overviews and chat with your calls.
How do you try Callyst?
The free check scores up to 10 of your own calls. It is free, one per company, with no card and no call with sales first. You need a work email, because Gmail, Outlook and other free addresses cannot be used.
- Fill in the free-check form with your name, work email and company. On the same form you can add your own scorecard.
- Click the sign-in link in your email. It works once and expires after 15 minutes.
- Upload your calls on your private upload page: .wav or .mp3, up to 50 MB each. Tick the permission box only if the people on the calls, and your company, allow Callyst to process the recordings. You are responsible for having the right to record your calls, including any consent that recording laws require.
- Press Done, build my report. Your scored report arrives within 24 hours, by email with the headline numbers and a link to the full report online.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Callyst cost compared with Voxjar?
Both publish a price, but they count different things. Callyst's price is set by team size: $200 a month for 1 to 3 reps, $280 for 4 to 7, and $40 per rep from 8, with 1,000 calls per rep included and extra calls at 5 cents each. Voxjar's is set by minutes of audio: its pricing page says an evaluation starts at 1 credit per minute, and QA Pro starts at $99 a month for 2,500 credits a month. To compare, work out your calls a month times your average call length, try Voxjar's credit calculator, as of 31 Oct 2026, and set the result beside Callyst's pricing. For a wider view, read What does call QA software cost? Voxjar's QA Pro plan includes 2,500 AI credits a month for $99, and an evaluation starts at 1 credit per minute of audio. Callyst counts calls, not minutes: each rep includes 1,000 calls a month, shared across the team.
Can I score calls on my own scorecard in Callyst and in Voxjar?
Yes, in both. Callyst loads your scorecard as written, and uses its standard sales scorecard if you have none. For a paid workspace, you send us changes and we update it. Voxjar has a scorecard editor, templates and an AI builder that turns pasted criteria into a scorecard. To compare the evidence, score the same call in both and open the item you care about most: is the evidence a quote from the call? Voxjar's own Auto QA guide suggests the same check. See software that scores calls against your own scorecard for how the options compare.
Does Callyst work with my phone system?
Callyst works with any phone system that can export recordings. You export the files and upload them; Callyst transcribes the audio. The phone systems page has export guides for GoTo Connect, RingCentral and Aircall. Voxjar's list of connected systems is on its integrations page, so check yours there.
How long does Callyst keep my recordings?
Audio is deleted 30 days after scoring, and no recording is kept longer than 35 days. Transcripts, scores and flags are kept until you cancel. All of your workspace's data is deleted within 30 days of cancelling. Our AI model provider gets text only, such as the transcript and your scorecard, never the audio. Your data is not used to train AI models. Upload only calls you have the right to record and use; is it legal to record and score sales calls? covers the basics. Ask any vendor, Voxjar included, for its own retention period in writing.
